Dough-stretching board · 600 × 600 mm

A proper bench for your dough

Stendì sits on your kitchen worktop and gives you a big steel surface with low sides on three edges. Stretch and shape your dough, and the flour stays on the board instead of all over the kitchen.

The first small batch is being built by hand in London.

How it works

Everything stays on the board

Hooks over the worktop

A lip along the front drops 33 mm over the edge of your worktop, so the board stays put when you push the dough away. Rubber grip buttons underneath stop it sliding.

Steel that lifts out

The work surface is a 580 × 591 mm sheet of stainless steel, safely held in place by a magnet. Lift it out to wash it, then slide it back in.

Three low sides, open at the front

Sides 45 mm high catch the flour on three edges without getting in your way. The front stays open, so you can work right up close.

Black all the way through

The frame is Valchromat, a wood-fibre panel that is dyed before it is pressed. Cut it, sand it or knock an edge, and it stays black.

Made in London

From the workshop to pizza night

Stendì started with a year of pizza nights and a kitchen covered in flour. Ivan, who works with interiors in London, made the first one from plywood. This one is Valchromat and steel, and the first small batch is being built by hand now.
